This is a comic-card I made for my friend Jennifer’s birthday. It’s kind of sad, but only because sometimes birthdays can be upsetting, especially when you may not get what you were expecting.
The show features 99 different images by 99 different artists, each 9×9 and selling for $99 or $66 dollars. The show opens on May 14th and runs until May 31st. This is the one I will have at the show, selling for 66 buckaroos. SOLD
Technology Blows
So my macbook pro crashed about a month ago. I was hit hard by what I would call post-data-loss depression. About 400 Gb of everything I live for (movies, music, photos, etc) was lost in the crash. The worst part was losing all my work from the past two years, including all my psd/ai files and extensive archives of fonts, textures, brushes, vectors, you name it. But I have put this all behind me now, it really was my own fault anyway, having not backed up any data in ages and accidentally, idiotically, deleting old backups without creating new ones. Anyways, learn from me, back your shit up!
Aside from this miniature “disaster” I have been quite busy. No, I have not been hiding in a cave, hole, or other underground shelter moping. I just haven’t updated this blog in something silly like two months. So, I will be attempting to catalogue what I have been doing with my time by posting most of these projects over the next few days. Starting with TCAF 2010, which took place in May. Stay Tuned.
