This is an illustration I created for class a few weeks ago to be intended for Rolling Stone magazine. A portrait of Clint Eastwood in effort to showcase a review of his most recent film, Gran Torino, released in 2009. This image was created from individual ink drawings that were scanned and coloured digitally.

This was completed for a digital media class. The assignment required us to choose one of two songs chosen by our prof, I chose the song Pink Cigarette by Mr. Bungle. I have mixed feelings about the finished product, but to be honest I wasn’t incredibly inspired by the songs we were given as choices to illustrate. Not a huge fan of the colours, but I felt they suited the song well.

Two illustrations for the book “48 Laws of Power”

conceal-your-intentions2

Conceal Your Intentions
Keep people off-balance and in the dark by never revealing the purpose behind your actions. If they have no clue what you are up to, they cannot prepare a defence. Get them far enough down the wrong path, envelop them in enough smoke, and by the time they realize your intentions it will be too late.

Keep Your Hands Clean
You must seem a paragon of civility and efficiency. Your hands are never soiled by mistakes and nasty deeds. Maintain such a spotless presence by using others as scapegoats to disguise your involvement.
