Borderline Artistic 1988
Mike Ellis was born on a sunny day in 1988 in Newmarket, Ontario. He enjoys a variety of mediums but leans towards the integration of analog and digital media. He is also a novice sculpture and installation artist. About to enter his thesis year at OCAD, he spends his time collecting things, especially comics, scraps of paper and bits of string. Let Go Lightly
Let Go Lightly was created over a 2 day period. I decided to chronologically record some of my favourite things as a child growing up. Beginning in junior kindergarten and ending in eighth grade. Ten illustrations.
Let Go Lightly is available for only $3 at 69 Vintage, 1207 Bloor St. West, Toronto until July. Limited edition of 10. Serigraphed front and back covers.
