Borderline Artistic 1988
Mike Ellis was born on a sunny day in 1988 in Newmarket, Ontario. He enjoys a variety of mediums but leans towards the integration of analog and digital media. He is also a novice sculpture and installation artist. About to enter his thesis year at OCAD, he spends his time collecting things, especially comics, scraps of paper and bits of string. WPA Inspired Paintings
I finished these in June, but never had the time to scan or upload the pieces. These three pieces were painted using acrylic and took direct reference from a few of my favourite WPA-era posters.
