Borderline Artistic 1988
Mike Ellis was born on a sunny day in 1988 in Newmarket, Ontario. He enjoys a variety of mediums but leans towards the integration of analog and digital media. He is also a novice sculpture and installation artist. About to enter his thesis year at OCAD, he spends his time collecting things, especially comics, scraps of paper and bits of string. New Concert Posters
I recently did two posters for friends of mine who are promoting and playing a couple shows at the end of the month. I finished The Flyboys’ poster about 10 minutes ago, and in terms of quality it knocked the socks off my other poster. The poster for a show at Rancho Relaxo unfortunately did not fit into my scanner (silly me!) so I had to resort to taking photos of it, which did not turn out well at all. I included a colour version which is being used for online promotion on Facebook and Myspace.
