Borderline Artistic
Welcome to MIKELLIS.CA, an illustration blog featuring work by Michael Ellis. I work in a variety of mediums but tend to enjoy integrating analog and digital media. I go to OCAD, I like collecting things, especially comics, scraps of paper and bits of string. Visit my about page to find out more about me!

About
My name is Mike Ellis. I sometimes work under the similar name mikellis. I am a third year Illustration student at the Ontario College of Art and Design. Born in Newmarket, Ontario. I currently live and work in Toronto, Ontario.
EXPERIENCE
I have worked as a freelance illustrator and designer since 2006. In the summer of 2008 I was awarded a business Grant from the government of Ontario to develop the now defunct Glass Kids Skateboard Co. Since then I have worked on many important projects and have overseen the development and curation of creative events. Aside from commercial illustration, I have exhibited artwork at AWOL, Whippersnapper Gallery, Sleeping Giant, and the Foster Home.
I am also a founding contributor of the Toronto-based zine, Fat City Wild Cat.
